The day starts with a tour of the F1 collection at Williams, a rare chance to see the true extent of the history of Williams Grand Prix, before a visit to Prodrive in Banbury and a chance to see their museum housing an impressive collection of racing cars and memorabilia spanning the decades.
A short drive will then take participants to Canons Ashby manor house, home to the Dryden family since it was first built at the time of Elizabeth I, before the final stop of the day at Rockingham in Corby, with laps of the 1.94 mile International Super Sports Car featuring part of the banked oval.
With stunning scenery and rural landscapes along the route, this is not only a treat for motorsport enthusiasts but also for those classic car owners who enjoy savouring what our countryside has to offer.
Participants are encouraged to sign up now to guarantee their place on this route as spaces are limited.
Andrew Coe, chief executive of event organiser International Motor Sports Ltd (IMS), comments: "We have listened to our customers, and we are pleased to be able to offer this new shorter route. The starting location and checkpoints on this route will be enjoyable for everyone, both families and enthusiasts alike".
Entries are filling up fast for the other routes on offer, with the Castle Combe and Dorking routes already at capacity. All motoring enthusiasts are welcome, but cars must have been built before 31 December 1989. Further information is available on www.msaclassics.co.uk or by contacting IMS directly on 01753 765 100.
