With a substantial number of entries already received for its popular annual MSA Euroclassic tour for cars over 20 years old, International Motor Sports Ltd is reminding potential customers to book before the 30 March deadline to secure the discounted early entry booking fee.
Taking place from 25 September to 2 October, 2012 is the 20th year of this iconic blue riband touring event which mixes challenging roads, sightseeing and motor sport venues old and new.
Starting from the historic city of León, Spain, this autumn's route will travel through Northern Spain and South-Western France before culminating with two nights in the spa town of Vichy, France. Highlights of the event include laps of the renowned Jarama, Albi and Charade (Clermont-Ferrand) circuits plus en route check points in Salamanca (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Saint-Gaudens (home to the 1928 French Grand Prix) and at the Pic du Midi high up in the French Pyrenées, as well as a full day exploring the city of Madrid.
For the second consecutive year, at the discretion of the organiser, a limited number of entries are available for more 'modern classics' which do not meet the 20 year age requirement.
Andrew Coe, Chief Executive of event organiser International Motor Sports Ltd (IMS) commented: "We are keen to remind prospective entrants about the early booking deadline so they don't miss out on this year's anniversary tour. With entries limited, we are advising those hoping to participate not to delay their application. It promises to be an exceptional event."
Entry costs £2,495 per car plus two-person crew (£2,695 if booked after the 30 March 2012 deadline) and includes detailed route maps, exclusive driving opportunities at the selected race tracks, on-event medical and mechanical assistance, lunch on selected days, a special Celebration Dinner on the final evening plus a host of other benefits and attractions.
For more information and full details of the 2012 route, log onto the official website at www.msaeuroclassic.co.uk. Entries are restricted and will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
