Participants in this year's MSA Euroclassic (4-11 September) have just a few days left to take full advantage of the special discounted 'early bird' entry fees for what promises to be the best ever running of the hugely popular continental touring event.
Now entering its 19th year, this summer's MSA Euroclassic offers owners of both classic and contemporary sports cars an amazing eight-day continental road trip, starting from Troyes in Central France and finishing in Parma, Italy. Although non-competitive, the well-planned 1480-mile route visits some of Europe's top automotive museums, a selection of challenging race circuits plus a host of other well-known motoring and tourist-related locations including St Moritz, Venice, Rome and Siena.
Those reserving their entries before midnight on Thursday 28 April not only guarantee their place on what's a strictly limited entry list, but also benefit from the early booking offer that expires before the end of this month.
"As this year we are visiting the heartlands of Ferrari and Lamborghini and arguably the home of the global supercar movement, we have for the first time opened our doors to a limited number of modern sportscar owners - as a result there's additional pressure on entries," reports Andrew Coe, Chief Executive of organiser International Motor Sports Limited.
"It's clear that with so much to see and do en route, this year's MSA Euroclassic has really captured imaginations and whetted appetites. Owners of an amazing array of cars have already booked their places; these range from Bentleys and Cadillacs dating back to the Thirties right up to contemporary classics such as the Lamborghini Murcielago. In between is a rich line-up of ACs, Aston Martins, Ferraris, MGs, Porsches and many other equally iconic and famous automotive marques. It's going to be an incredible moving motor show in its own right."
With sight-seeing stop-offs in many of Europe's most celebrated towns and cities including glitzy St Moritz in the Swiss Alps and then popular Italian jewels such as Verona, Venice, San Marino, Rome, Siena and Pisa - as well as visits to the Mille Miglia and Maranello Ferrari museums and exclusive track time at five different circuits - this summer's MSA Euroclassic has huge appeal for anyone interested in cars or culture or, indeed, both.
If booked before the impending 28 April deadline, entry costs £2,100 per car plus two-person crew (£2,250 if the deadline is missed). This includes detailed route maps, exclusive driving opportunities at the five selected race tracks, on-event medical and mechanical assistance, lunches on most days, a special Celebration Dinner on the final evening as well as many more benefits and attractions.
To lodge entries or for more information about 2011's MSA Euroclassic, log onto the official www.msaeuroclassic.co.uk website. Places are strictly limited and will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
