In 1990, over 1200 cars started on 8 routes - making the Norwich Union RAC Classic the largest event of its kind anywhere in the world.
Route started from Bath Royal Victoria Park, Brocket Hall, Woburn Abbey, Oxford, Norwich, Stockport and Harewood House. 1990 also saw the introduction of the first route solely for Edwardian cars, just 75 miles long and starting from Donington.
All routes finished at Donington.
