2007 Iberian Adventure - Northern Spain and Portugal

The 15th MSA Euroclassic, a seven day “Iberian Adventure”, took place from 1st – 7th October, 2007.

The seven day Euroclassic toured northern Spain and Portugal visiting the Estoril, Porto and Vasco Sameiro circuits. Starting in Santander and finishing in Bilbao, it covered 1250 miles. The run was timed to coincide with the ferries between Plymouth and Santander run by Brittany Ferries.

Day 1 - Monday 1st October

• Santander Port
• Cervera de Pisuerga (Official Start & Refreshment Stop) 
• Overnight Halt - León

Day 2 - Tuesday 2nd October

• León
• Puebla de Sanabria (town centre checkpoint) 
• Chaves - Monastery/Fortress (lunch halt) 
• Overnight Halt - Porto (Mayor's Reception & parking in front of Town Hall)

Day 3 - Wednesday 3rd October

• Porto
• Braga Circuit (circuit use available until 13.00) 
• Bom Jesus - Cathedral (lunch halt) 
• Overnight Halt - Porto - Parking at Jardim do Palacio de Cristal   
• Tour of Taylor's Port/Wine Caves & Mid Event Dinner 

Day 4 - Thursday 4th October

• Porto 
• Aveiro (town centre checkpoint & Mayor's Reception) 
• Batalha (lunch halt) 
• TBC 
• Overnight Halt - Lisbon

Day 5 - Friday 5th October

• Lisbon 
• Estoril Circuit (circuit use available until 13.00) 
• Sintra Palace 
• Overnight Halt - Lisbon

Day 6 - Saturday 6th October

• Lisbon 
• Tomar (town centre checkpoint) 
• Coimbra (lunch halt) 
• Caramulo (Motor Museum) 
• Overnight Halt - Viseu (park overnight at hotel)

Day 7 - Sunday 7th October

• Viseu 
• Vila Real (joining in Street Circuit celebrations) 
• Bragança (town centre checkpoint with Mayoral Welcome) 
• Finish – León 
• End of Event Gala Dinner (at hotel)
